Hey everyone!!!My name is Dale and I live in Delta,B.C.,Canada,a 'burb of Vancouver.I have been into cars all my life and currently own a bagged,flat black 54 Ford F100,and have a 48 Mercury 114X sedan(Canadian Merc)that I'm building.I work as a mechanic/welder/fabricator for a fabrication shop that specializes in dump truck bodies and trailers. The Merc is goin to be as traditional as I can build it.No billet ,and a total mid 60's look.The only concessions I have made in the period correctness is the suspension,MII frontend and such,gotta be safe.I plan on driving the wheels off of this one. Here's a couple of pics of the toys;
That is one "in your face" front end on that truck! Nice to see another 54 F100 going the retro look. What's the center of the bumper from? a Plymouth? I'm using a 54 poncho center section with 51 Meteor bezels and flush mount led signals in the grill on mine with lengthened 70 Camaro RS bumperettes. Welcome. Fairly new here myself, but welcome.
The front bumper on the truck is from a 56 mercury car.It needs to modified,the dagmars s****e goin over speed bumps.Also it needs to be rechromed!
