how did they fit? seems like any time i try to use a premade replacement anymore i spend more time cutting it and making it fit then if i where to just fab a new one from scratch.

Not bad. Had to bend the right side as it was bowed in the middle.

got the truck over to my buddies body shop today ( s&s in webb city mo). got a few minor things pulled and straighten out, and started the blocking process. the truck has been blocked and body worked a few times already so we are close. the doors are all buttoned up and ready for final blocking and sealer.

 

Damn...you're getting close!

 

Ryno... What's you do the dress the filet welds on the steps?

yes,its an exciting time.

3m /dynatron seem sealer on both sides.under coating on the under and paint on top.

yes sir,and use lots of lacquer thinner on your finger to help smooth it out.
