Your a true craftsmen ryno. I'm new to the site and just came across your build. As everyone else in the thread has said, you did a great job at turning a beater into a classy custom. Thanks for all the progress pics. Very motivating.

Wow, that red tint is crazy looking from inside. The bed looks good with the strips to break it up some and should really stand out once it is lined.

It was good to see ya at the show, wish I would have had more time to talk with ya about the truck. I was tryin to look at some cars between the beers and bs'n though! It looks even better in person, amazing work in short order!!
About the line-x, We've been using a liner called Raptor on all the cars at the shop. It dries hard and doesnt give the build up that the line x does. It's tintable as well. Really durable stuff. Just thought I'd mention it.

    thanks!
it seemed the day was a little slow staring, with teh 30 mph cold wind, but before i knew it, it was time to leave!
I've heard of that raptor stuff, i may look into that if my line-x deal does not pan out.

Takes a little getting used to the red tint ? That's an understatement if there ever was one.

No way I could drive with that tint, heck a ride in the passenger seat would even be out.

Okay, so it might not be your thing but I am into tuners and one of the things that they will do is cut the frame open and stuff the wires in there. Could be an option if you really wanted to "tuck" them. But really, your ride is killer. I love the tint.

Will try to remember that. May be slick stock,it's in kc this year
So how do you find a problem if you have an issue ?
What tuners even have frames to cut open ?
    Thanks

Thats funny, cause im lookin for early mustang seats, ahaha, i guess the GT trim was diffrent. Or the ones ive seen were wearing the new aftermarket repo covers.
    Bitchin thou. really like this.
Plan on running pinners as $$ allows or you wanna stick to the blackwalls. I thought i would never say this, but they dont look bad at all in there....

I think they call them the pony interior
I'd love to find some pinners ,but I have wacky sizes that I couldn't find at the time I was in a rush to get rubber. I'd really like to find,or have made some red lines, double red lines!

Well, considring the red tint, interior, bed plans i think if you have double red-lines made they would be so bad ass. Only drawback i can see is that Diamond back is pretty expensive. At least on this side of the planet.

I have read this thread through a couple times now and I love that truck. I bought a 62 unibody a year ago and it has been waiting on me. Your build is defiantly inspiring. I love that stance. Now you have me questioning whether I can raise my front suspension like that with a crown vic ifs instead of the mustang 2.

Great work, I like the silver interior with the red buckets. Very sharp! I also like your guage panel, I may have to try that colour on mine. :)

The ones I've seen run the harness inside the front fender, but above the fender liner. Others may run the wires inside the hollow sections of the unibody (the other kind, lol) structure, which would be analogous to a frame rail.

But I agree, it may look cleaner but it certainly isn't as functional as having the harness fully accessible, and your wiring is very neat and tidy as is. You also don't have that many wires to deal with. Anyway, I'm definitely going to consider the Rebel wire kit when it comes time to wire my truck, now that I've read your experiences with it.

I dont see why you couldn't z a cv front end,but they do look very busy to the eye., but they can be had for cheap.

    That pos pedal hold up?

Which wiring harness did you get, i know rebel but which model?

The electrical is doing odd things on the 59. I think that noise we heard is a warning tone.

Ryno; I just went through your buildup of your 61 and all I can say is GREAT WORK. It was so good to see info on a 61. I am always looking for work like this. Although my truck is not a unibody, I still find useful info in your thread. Good Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
