Hey Guys, Todd Ruffin here, in a tiny little SE Oklahoma town called Hugo. I've been a hot-rodder all my life with a love for all old cars and an appreciation for everyone's ideas of what's cool. I work all week at my little transmission and repair shop to make a little money to feed my passion; working on old cars. I've had too many projects to list, finished a few, sold a few I shouldn't have, but here I am doing what I love, everyday. Standing at the fence with my crew at the 2015 H.A.M.B Drags watching the incredible old school cars racing by, after an awesome night at the pre-party surrounded by like-minded people, I knew I had to be a part of it. Now, after almost a year of planning, working, cussing, sweating, and bleeding, the time is almost here. The custom '47 Chevy 2 ton hauler (73 motorhome frame, 97 Cummins 12 Valve) is almost done and ready to load up the Gasser for the 2016 Drags. The '62 Chevy II, in all her rust covered glory, is getting worked over and ready to run down the track with the best and baddest. I can't wait for all of my fellow H.A.M.B.ers to tell me how junky she is! Dead broke, no budget racing is what we do best, so she won't be be pretty, but she'll be old-school and cool, just how I like it. Now, here's to hoping we can get it done in time to make the race!
47 Chevrolet 2 ton cab, 73 Chevrolet motor home chassis (35 ft long, 22 ft of bed), 97 Dodge 12 valve Cummins and 47rfe transmission. This truck was purpose built to haul the Chevy II to the HAMB Drags 2016. It's almost done! Sent from my XT1055 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
