That’s just to keep things clean inside. No mice in my garage. I’ll be sure to remove. :p

Finally brought the coupe to Ted’s for some paintwork on the frame rails and firewall.
Spent the morning getting it prepped. Hope to start putting it back together next week. IMG_6609.jpeg IMG_6610.jpeg IMG_6614.jpeg

Did Ted touch up the chips you made taking the engine out? Oh and did you paint the trunk lid as Ted would have hated polishing around all those louvers.

Time to put the fenders and running boards back on LOL

Just painted frame sides that were partially green , the firewall and hood tops (that I sanded all the louvers) , the cowl vent and the grill shell . Fenders? What are fenders?

That is such a perfect 5W!
But inquiring minds want to know: what’s the story on this?
Did you make that? Very cool.

Looking good Mark. You should paint those wheels Chevy orange to match your engine LOL.
I like that dark green, shame it's going away. Cousin Ted is going to love painting that trunk lid with all those louvers.

Congrats on this milestone @ct1932ford. That was a pretty quick and intense turnaround. Show and go time...it looks quite stunning and no doubt a fun Hotrod to drive.

  26. I like it without the grill shell (of course I wouldn’t want to replace the radiator) it makes it look like a race car!

It’s almost November and I finally put the finished hood on. It’s been painted since the beginning of August.
I have not damaged it at all as it sat in pieces for months. Why push my luck!:p
I will take more photos this week outside.
I did like the look without the hood.
Change is also good, and I won’t trip over them Time to start sanding the rest of the body! IMG_7349.jpeg IMG_7348.jpeg
