Been lurking for almost a year and a half now, thought I would finally begin posting... Hey guys, my name is Andrew, I live in Fairview, TN (just SW of Nashville), i'm 19 years old, and I'm a car-a-holic. Right now, I'm going for a 4 year degree in computer engineering. Lets see, I've been into cars all my life, and a few years ago I finally found my first true project, a 64 GMC short step. I know it's no hot rod by hot rod standards, but I like it. I have big ideas for it, so i'm slowly trying to get the tools and skills ( and $$$) to make those dreams possible. Other than that, I'm just a typical guy from my generation... I can't live without my technology, I enjoy sitting on my ass a lot playing video games, but I try to wrench on the GMC when I can. I've finally got to the point on the truck that I can focus on the exterior, so I'd like to learn more about the traditional style while getting a few tips & tricks on the way. I look forward to getting to know you guys, the HAMB has already proved to be an invaluable resource of info ( especially on the T5 swap), and I have spent countless hours looking through the tech articles. I know you ol' rodders can be hard headed and outspoken, but I think I can deal with it.
