another frame swap question

I've read all there is to read about a s10 frame swap for my 48 GMC, what I am wondering is if a 89 chevy Astro van 2wd, 4.3 v6 700r4 would work,
from what I can see it seems the rear is flatter instead of the kick up you get with the s10 frame in the back.

Has anyone attempted the frame swap from an Astro van ????
putting under a 48 gmc pickup

 

Astro van has a sub frame under it. Clip like a nova. at least the one 86 and 93 I had did.

 

true, true-- after checking it oput, it indeed does have just a stub frame . thanks!!
