I've always been into old Chevrolet from about age 6 or 7. Riding to the dump in Grampa's old pickup was the highlight of my week. A little later my first driving lessons in a '55 Chevy 3200 Long bed with a toe starter 235....good memories all of them. My first hot rod was a 1947 Chevy AK pickup running a 283 / T10 with '56 car rear end. I've owned 3 Jeep CJ's, a '71 Buick GS, a '35 Master deluxe 5 window Coupe, several 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks, a '55 210 Sedan gasser, all sold or traded off. Nowadays I am building a 1936 Low cab pickup. Somewhere back a while I was bitten by the Red Iron bug and now I have 3 old Indian Chiefs, a '53 for riding, a '47 for bobbing into a rod bike and a '46 for restoration and sale (someday project).

This looks like a great place to help with ideas and to discover some new ones. I weld and wrench as much as I can but some things I have to farm out like sand blasting and motor re-builds. I am planning a auto body course at the local tech school in the next year or so. Nothing I enjoy more that being in my shop puttering around with some old iron. I am a retired disabled vet with 20 years Active army service. Hope to see some of you on the road or at a swap meet if your local to the pacific Northwest.
    Ride easy, ~B.
