After a short hop off a tall jack I managed to ding up the nose on the Evil Step Dad's Coupe.

Once the damage was knocked out we kinda realized that it might be a good idea to have it blasted and start over.

There was quite a bit of mystery around the top as it was 1/2" thick or better where the hole used to be and obviously involved several layers of fiberglass.

    Umm, ouchie!??

Cut some scraps to size and pulled out Ye Ol Baliegh Industrial Finger Smasher and wheeled in some shape to the patches and went to work.

The patches are made from 22 ga and I don't know what thickness the nose is but I'm surprised you cant read thru it. I've had newspapers that were thicker.

Still have a bit of hammering to do but its getting close,

It also had a couple holes in the sides that needed patching and a few stress cracks here and there.

Now its good as new and after a bit more of the magic hammer all it will need is a couple coats of primer to fill the low spots and a good blocking.

Nice job. If you think you're off the hook, you're wrong. The old man is going to work you yet. Stu
