Folks Of Interest Another great old timer leaves us behind

For those of you in the Chicago/Kenosha/Milwaukee area, you likely know Ray Dixon of Dixon Automotive in Waukegan, IL. Unfortunately, Ray p***ed away.

He has been battling some health issues, but seemed to be on the mend.

Ray was known for building great engines, especially for circle track guys and drag racers.

For many, many years, he was a big sponsor at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI.

I trusted Ray with my engine building. He was one of the few remaining that knew early Chevy V8's, fuel injection and magnetos.

We lost a good man.

 

Ray was a good guy, he will be missed!
