Ol My God, I can't believe it. I had know idea. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get ahold of him. He welded up a gas tank for my over the winter and was trying to get a hold of him to pick it up. My thoughts and prays go out to his family. Mike was a great guy. When I joined the HAMB he seen I was from close by and contacted me. I wonder who is going to take care of his business matters ? If anybody knows please contact me. I'm so sorry for your loss. Gods speed Mike. R.I.P.

He LIVED man, he didn't hide under a rock, he had you for a friend...
My favorite song that gets me through when I'm missing friends gone by, not the version your probably familiar with but this young lady does it fine...

  7. WOW. I am SOOOOO sorry to hear this..... Mike was a hell of a guy. I never met him in person, but he saw I was from michigan and in a wheelchair, and offered to help in ANY way he possibly could. I have quite a few posts of his from us talking back and forth. I think I will go read them now. This is so sad, and scary. I am also 29 myself, so it hits close to home. May I ask what kind of cancer? My step mother is dying of colon cancer, she is only 43, and i thought THAT was too young.

Prayers sent, and my sincerest condolences to his family.... Did he have children?

  19. Wow - so sad. My condolences to all who called him family or a friend.

I was just looking at Mike's post about his roadster project - he bought the wheels from me that were slated for the build.

    Godspeed Mike.

Just incredibly sad sad news. He was one that a lot of us looked up to his work I'm sure. He's definitely left us far too soon and the world is a lesser place because of it. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his family and friends. Godspeed Mike.

I am Shocked! Mike and I were not super close but our friendship was budding. I had no idea, like many others here, of the cancer... but from the sounds of it, he didn't know for long. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
