The "Vamps", Femi side of the "Wheel Tramps" pulled off a great "annual" hotrod/customs show at Maxdon's with all the main ingredients to make a show happen'in. As usuall my camera killed way before i got enough shots in, but i got a few good ones. Besides the regular Antelope Valley HAMBers, i got to bs with a celebrity HAMBer for a little while, "Rickie Rocket", cool down to earth guy. There was a massive burnout resulting in a blown tire and probably cut 10 years off my life injesting the smoke. Well heres the pics. Thats it for me. DAMN CAMERA!!!
Always love pics. Thanks. Too bad the camera croaked, would have liked to see a side view of the Ford Tudor.... .
Got anymore pix of that turquiose '40s' 4-door in the background...?? That one look interesting... Thanx, R-
Hey Hip, looks great! Thanks for posting an aircooled, even if it was a Corvair!!! Are you going to HAMB Chop 06? As you know, I can't cut, weld, or paint (I kinda do primer....poorly...) but I can take pictures!!!!
Hey "dirt"! Your right, the weather was absolutely bitch'in and there was plenty to see and do for a reletively small show. It was a Hell-o-ween show so this time i came in costume for the first time as "Coop" (the dashing Devil). I guess it looked pretty good cause i was asked to pose with a few people. Project wise , after i spun the 455 in the truck i poked a 250 straight, down in the hole to make our Rod Tosser show, but decided not enough time to road test it for a 1 hr drive so i didnt bring it. A buddy, since has sold me a 74 chev p/u with a 454/400 set up, so thats whats going in as we speak. I cant touch the Buick till the trucks on the road, but cant wait to bite into that, and i gutted the Hudson for inspection purposes, and just to clean all the petrified rat shit, and 30 years of dirt out of it. Nocturnal, which one?, iv got picks from other shows of those sedans. "40StudeDude" i sure do, and that just so happens to belong to our very own "Doc Franknstien" now. The story is this guy came to our show and liked Mikes 50 Chev so much he got back with him and begged him to trade up so mike was wantin somethin new to play with so they did. The guy that traded and did the custom job on it worked with Windfield, grew up with Watson, and i believe worked with the Barris brothers at one point. heres some pics. There ya go. Id like to make that Mighty Mouse, have to see. Would you wanna cruise down there together? Anyway have a good one!
