Howdy, I've been lurking here for about 6 months, so I thought I better introduce myself. I live south of Austin in Buda. I've been into old cars forever. I have an uncle who was into cars and bikes and some of my earliest memories are going for rides on his shovelhead and going to look at his T-bucket. I'm also a guitar player who is heavily influenced by rockabilly and other 40s and 50s music. I've been to the last 3 Lonestar Roundups. Growing up in south Texas, I'm particularly fond of trucks. I sold my Ironhead Sportster chopper a few months ago and I've been on the hunt for a model A roadster pickup since then. When I get one I hope to do it in a traditional style. Right now I'm leaning towards late 40's salt lake style with a hopped up 4 banger, but it all depends on what I find. I've learned a ton on these pages and look forward to contributing in the future.
