A face only a mother could love! LOL The first pic is when I raised the front end. The next pic is with the rear end raised.

Looks good Jack. What front axle & rear end did you use?

What about Orange and White like the old Creamsickles divided by a narrow pinstripe of contrasting orange and white following the body contour?

    David,
I built my own front axle using '54 Chevrolet truck spindles. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch.

Looks like a toy sitting outside. The higher it gets, the smaller it looks.

    Baron,
That's the thing that surprised me. It looks half the size outside. I never could get a good perception of a car sitting in the shop anyway.

Maybe I overlooked this. What did the rear end come out of?

Looks real Mean! I actually like the rear low, but understand you have to have room for tire growth.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    David,
The rear end is from a '85 Ford pickup.

How much did you have to cut it down?
Just trying to get some ideas for mine!

    David,
I didn't cut it at all. It seemed to be ok as it was. A little cut would have been ok but didn't seem to be worth the trouble.

I had planned to use another short axle from another rear end and cut it that much but didn't seem worth it. A wheel with a 4 inch back space will work just fine.

Sounds good. I have a 9 inch out of a 79 Ford pickup that I can use & was wandering. The only thing I would change then would be the lug pattern.

    David,
I think I will redrill my axles to the smaller pattern.

I see that it just sold. Good for you. When the time is right, there will always be time for the next project. Somebody got a good deal on a great start.
