Another Holley 3310 Question I have a broken spring on my 3310 - I have attached a photo with the part in question circled in red (the spring pictured is NOT broken like mine) That us the purpose of this ***embly? That is the name of this spring, and where can I get a replacement? Thanks in advance!
That's the fast idle adjustment, the choke is connected to that cam, and the idle speed goes up as you close the choke. Which spring is broken? I see two in the circle
Ask Holley. They have a phone number you can call. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/carburetor_components/ But if you can get a used one for free, why bother?
The purpose of that spring is to keep high idle adjustment screw near high cam in the chock linkage . I have a few of them laying around also if can not locate one from other members . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I have been lucky enough to have help here identifying the spring, and an offer to send a spring to me (THANKS!) I was hoping to be able to buy a few & send a replacement back …. Holley seems to sell every part as a replacement - I just figured for a few bucks I could repay other's kindness Thanks Dave - if the other offer falls through I'll be in touch
Ha ha! Spend your money on a good carb ! 3 barrel wasn’t good when new , not to mention after years of abuse ! I have tinkered with many 3 Barrel and center squirters , not worth the effort . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
