Another Michigan striper passes

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by safariknut, Jun 3, 2004.

  1. Got a call from Dr.Ru yesterday saying that one of our Michigan stripers had passed away over the weekend."Tyke" from up around the Clarkston area died of a pulmonary embolism at the age of 48 after waging a successful battle against cancer for the past few years.Don't have any more info than that but I figured those who knew him would like to know.He was one of the original members of the Detroit Area PINHEADS and usually attended every jam.He will be sorely missed.

    Sorry about your friend..........

48 is WAY too young to die.........

    84 is more acceptable.

    unless you are 83.

[IMG]That is sad to hear, I did not know him personally, but a friend of mine knew him quite well, and always spoke highly of him. -Joe

Sad news indeed...I was almost afraid to open this post and see who it was.

Too young, Man...my thoughts go with him, his family and friends...

Very sorry to hear of the passing. The body is gone but the legacy lives on through his art. We all live on through the people we have touched. No one is really gone untill they are forgotten. Always Remember.......
