What did you use for a front axle? I'm doing a 4" chopped 30' coupe on duece rails, the body is done and I'm collecting the running gear now. I was going with a dropped A axle but started to wonder about clearance when turning.

My vote is for 16" wires.....but they both look cool. Excellent job, very proportionate with the chop and stance. I'll be keeping an eye on your thread.

got my headlight stands/shock mounts finished yesterday and i really like the way they turned out. the Headlights are at the perfect height for the era im shooting for IMHO.

decided to put my Intake on today and added some flare, I heart Flatheads :D also got my tires mounted this week i had some NOS 6.00x16 Allstate tires that were perfect for the front and i got a pair of 7.00x16 Firestones for the rear, wheels are 4 inches wide in the front and 4.5 inches for the rears. i am pretty much in the home stretch right now so i rolled it outside for the first time to get some pictures of how she is sitting now . .

well its been a long time since i have updated, it has been a very long month or so. i moved out of my place on the 15th and have been staying with a friend for the last month and he has been kind enough to let me finish my car at his house before i leave.

i have been working on the coupe pretty much non stop for the last few weeks, basically i wake up eat breakfast and get to work, not emerging till around 8 in the evening. im down to all the small final details that take forever but really tie the whole car together. i rolled the car out today to get some shots since i have been working in an 8x13 foot space  i havent been able to step back and look at it. and since it finally stopped raining for once!

some of the major things to note are the fact that i replaced the 5" magnum drop axle with and original dropped 34? axle and a real reverse 32 spring. the aftermarket spring was really screwing with the authenticity haha. also picked up 2nd row seat out of a 90's mazda mpv mini van, i think these seats were designed for model A's, not an inch to spare on either side and they recline! mounted the original set of 50 pontiac tail lights that i have been olding onto forever as well as the fram oil filter canister on the firewall.

i am reallty stoked on how this car is turning out i just really wish i was going to keep it long enough to enjoy it :(

i'll stop babling now and just let you guy enjoy some pictures . . .
