Hey Everyone! I just picked up a 54 Chevy Bel Air 2 dr out of Paso Robles. Before that I had a pair of 52 Chevy business coupes and a 59 Impala. I am new to H.A.M.B. and also new to the Houston area. I am actually from El Paso, TX but have lived in San Antonio, NJ and the UK. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible. Where are all the cool places to hang out here in Southern Side of Houston? Zirad54
Welcome. There is a get together of HAMB guys on the 1st Sunday of each month in the Heights. That would be a bit of a cruise from Pearland, but it'd be cool if you could make it out.
Kind of. Military and jobs take you to places you really don't want to go to but you just have to suck it up and do the job. Got to go where the $$$$$ leads you.
Thanks for the invite but my car is slammed, old school style and the roads here in Houston pretty much suck. They are even worse than San Antonio (hard to believe). Where in the Heights? Do you know of anything down this way, like Seabrook, League City etc?

Welcome to The HaMB and Houston. I haven't found much in the old school hot rods here. I some times cruise to Otto's in Stafford right off of 59. It's a good trip from Pearland also, but the roads are pretty good between. Tell us where the Heights meet up is, I am sure I can make it in old smokey.
Welcome man!!!!! Glad to have another Houston guy on the board! Jimmy's Icehouse in the Heights is the place. Every 1st Sunday of every month. 3pm to whenever you've had enough. It is just west of the corner of White Oak & Studewood. Which is just to the northwest of downtown a little over a mile. I'll be missing this month but have made damn near everyone since the inception. Look forward to meeting you in February, and welcome aboard.
