Hey guys, I've been snoopin around here for quite a while, and thought I'd go ahead and jump in. I've had a few hot rods over the years, but priorities changed with fatherhood. My son is now 11 and has always been interested in loud and fast cars. So we picked up a 1966 Chevy SWB C-10 last week. I'm looking forward to teaching him the hod rod way, getting your hands greasy and dirty. The truck is a perfect canvas to start with it has a newly rebuilt 350 4 bolt and a newer th350 trans. It's gonna need to be doctored up a bit, as it's pretty stock, but will do for now. My main priority is to get the suspension and steering lined out first. Going fast is great but if it don't stop and turn, your in trouble. Of course, all he can think of are blowers and N0s...lol. Hopefully, I will be able, with the help of all you H.A.M.B.ers, to covey the ol'skool ways to a new generation of hot roders. We should be starting our build after the New Year. Wish me luck. CC
