Hi ther new to the board,hacd to join lots of good info. just got this 1948 Ford sedan flattie and all,really good so it stays that way well almost hard to stay stock when all other cars have been street rods ie 39 Chev with big six, and now 1948 Pontiac streamliner with a big eight (427). Kind a diff the Ford and the Pontiac and I are the same age oh well its only a number. Fixing Ford brakes now then change engine to a 8BA the 59er seems to have a main bearing problem. When i worked i was a heavy duty mechanic, fixed all kind of things lawn mowers up to graders etc. worked for govt agency.
