A recent artticale I was reading about Speed Shops in Southern Calif. brought me to this site. I just shared some nostalgia about Byod Coddington and Jake the Snake of Service Center speed shop in Anaheim. Then about Compi***ion Specilties speed shop and warehouse in Beuna Park, and Wild Bill Shewsberry wheel standing funny car. Knew them all and spent many hours together and a lot of fun times in the mid to late 70's. I was a young hot shot punk that thought he could build or tune anything. Time showed I was correct but only after many failures and heart break but had a hell of a lot of fun.
