Fifty years ago this month I bought my 1st car; a 1947 Ford 2 dr sedan (all stock). I've ridden motorcycles for most of the past 50 years, but always had a dream of owning a street rod. About a month ago, I ran across a '48 Ford 2 dr sedan street rod (I was born in '48); so when my wife twisted my arm; I bought it. Heeding her words "you deserve it" and "you can't take it with you", so here I am. I'm looking forward to reading and learning from the members on this forum and I promise to ask a bunch of questions or comment as needed.
