Another New Merc in Town it's a 40 vert

Thought I would share some pictures of my new Merc I brought home today. 1940 4 dr sedan convert. Suppose to be pretty rare. Too late now.




Hey check this out. What project car isn't complete without a set of recapped snow tires. I putting them both on the left side . It will give it that modern SUV look.









Poor old car has been botched up a couple of times , but I think she will make a super good lookin custom.

 

cool! reminds me of the 40 4 dr sedan I turned into a 2 dr convertible...they do make great customs!

I slipped this one past Bill. He didn't know about this one.

I'm making progress on the Maxwell fenders, but they ain't done yet.

 

going to look damn good, hopefully sooner than later.

I'm afraid it will be a while before I get to start on it. I have 6 projects of my own. I need to finish the first 3 before I start on this one.
