Bought my first car in 59 when you could buy cars off the lot for $50. Mostly 49-50 Chevys. Once paid a guy $18 for a 50 Chevy coupe, (nosed and decked, door handles shaved) because he needed money to buy paint for a 54 Ford. In the early sixties, I paid $88 for a 392 hemi and put it in a 56 Dodge. Had a few more interesting cars in the early sixties; 47 Merc Coupe with 303 Olds, 50 Olds coupe w/394, 55 Ford Convertible, 56 Ford Victoria 2dr hardtop. Attempted to put a 322 Buick in a Morris Minor with a gold fish in a headlight but got drafted, married and raised boys. Neither are interested in the hobby. Where did I go wrong? Don't know what happened to the Morris Minor.

Got back in the hobby in 94 with a 54 Ford F-100. Changed it to Volare suspension, 302, C-6 and 9 inch rear. Drove it for 10 years and am now changing it over to Mustang II. Hope to have it on the road again by summer.

Building a 35 Ford Fordor Touring Sedan for my wife with a 351 and C-6. I'm very lucky because she's into the hobby.

Next project is a 39 Ford Standard Sedan Delivery that I've had for 11 years. Maybe my cut from the stimulus package will help pay for some of these projects.:D

I'm sure stimulus package will cost us too much.
