I've been lurking on HAMB ever since being introduced to it by Lurker Mick several years back (we both judge ISCA shows). Same basic story, grew up in a hot rod/drag racing family during the 70's and 80's, finally built my own car in early 90's (39 Chevy coupe), and have since ac***ulated approx. 68,000 miles on it since. As a kid our family cars were a 23 C-Cab, and a 29 Model A sedan. Rode in the back of the 29 to numerous Street Rod Nationals (St. Paul twice, OK City, Lousville), and got to experience cars in their natural element, on the highway. In addition to the 39, I'm currently helping my father with his 32 3-window (500 Cad engine), which we recently put on the road for some shakedown runs before final paint/polish, and we also have a 55 Buick Special waiting for some attention as well. Other than that, just interested in most things that are car related, although my career is as a 5th grade teacher.
