Hi all, I am an old dirt track racer and mechanic. My current project is a modified stock car like they ran when I was a kid. Mine uses a homemade frame and a 1932 Chevy coupe body which was from an old 1960's modified (I found it in a field near my home and paid $20.00 for it - it ain't cherry) and is powered by a SBC. My next project will be a 1930's dirt track car that will be based on the K8 plans drawn up by Ray Kuns in 1939. I am now redrawing the plans to better fit my needs but overall the car will look the same, but don't tell my wife - I haven't quite got her convinced that we need another race car yet....lol.
