I joined at my brother's suggestion. I've got a 37 Ford 5 window Coupe (still in concept and rust) and he's got a much older 36 Ford Slantback (almost complete ). I've also got a 69 Ford Fairlane Fastback (351W) that I bought new.

First car was a 58 Ford stationwagon with police interceptor V8 - used more oil than gas, but would run.

I'm working in the DC area and finding shows near and far. I went to Leonardtown, MD a couple weekends ago and found a surprisingly good little show around the town's central park. In June, I'm going to NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals in Pueblo, CO and in July to Good Guys in Des Moines. Other shows I've been to are the grandaddy in Louisville :D and NSRA and NASCAR in Richmond, VA.

It would be nice to find contacts locally and get some hands-on experience before I start the real thing. (I don't mean wax-on, wax-off).
