Hi ya'll, I'm Jeff. I have a 32 3 window coupe that was a hot rod back in the 50s and 60s. Fenderless, chopped and channeled. I bought it back in 1979 and still haven't driven it. Yes I am one of those guys. First one thing then another. But it has been dipped and epoxy primed. I built a custom frame out of 2 x 4 tubing and it has coil overs in back with a watts linkage. Dropped I beam in front with discs, etc. I have a 400 Poncho in it now but, I have a 351C I may put in it. Manual trans of course. I'm currently working on a 55 handyman that I bought back in December. I drove it home but, it needed front end work and wiring. I'm trying to get the wiring finished now. I love the traditional hot rods. None of this fancy-schmancy dead cow and billet covered, store bought bolt ons for me. I want to do it the hard way. Make a part off this car work on my car. Or build it from scratch. Cut, bend, hammer, weld, cuss, bleed, and keep on going. I've got pics. I'll have to get them to where I can show them off. Can we use picturetrail here? I am a member of another forum for talking about Chevys and I have enjoyed it and learned a lot. I'm hoping to do the same here. I've looked around a bit and I am excited about finding out more. Looking forward to getting to know you guys. Jeff
I thought I'd post again here just to say I'M BACK! And finally back to work on the coupe. Between other cars and just life in general, it's been a long time coming. I'll start a new post and catch everyone up on where it's been and where it is now.
