Event Coverage Another Nice Evening in Colchester

Been reporting on this monthly event a number of times, yet thought to share once more some of the reasons this event never disappoints.

Leading off are a few ‘35 & ‘36 pickups.

 

As always, there were more. Also as always, got busy talking and didn’t get to see all of them.

 

is that where colchester lathes were made?

 

The black 28 roadster with the Hallock, Six 2's, Firepower, Deuce shell, Special headlamps,
( Can't never remember their name )
Period correct tires etc... is a memorable acheivement.
Glad your talks allowed for that one.

hmmm, in CT we have Bridgeport home of the Bridgeport and a number of tools/equipment out of New Britain, but not aware of that Colchester connection.

Those E&J (Edmond and Jones) headlights seem to be notable to different folks who have a variety of thoughts on them.
Here I go again, talking through writing.

Pete, thanks for the pictures. You know I miss going there, and then going to Harry's hamburger stand. I went to Harry's in the early 1960's after going to the drags at Connecticut Drag-way.
