Hey, name is Dan. Been lurking here a bit and finally registered. I was actually looking for information on a project and came across this site.
I currently don't have a traditional rod, but hope to have one in the near future and have been poking around here for ideas. My current toy is a Jeep Cherokee built for off road/daily driving use. Pops has a 34 Ford pickup, but it has billet and leather...you guys wouldn't like it. :D

    See ya!

Welcome aboard. You are in the right place for guidance. OK, there's some well intended BS here too, but you'll see the humor in it.

Thanks! No worries about the BS. I'm used to it. Nice Olds!

    Ok...if you say so.

and just for kicks, here's one of my Jeep. It's not quite a rod, but it has had some suspension work, a chopped (replaced) top, a fresh 4.0 six cyl, and is getting a Mopar 8.75 rear swapped in. Does that qualify? :D

There may be some people here that don't care for your dads truck but it looks like it is a very nice ride.....your jeep is cool did you put the xocage on the outside after you tore up the top....?

Yeah, he has taken a few trophies with it. He does drive it everywhere though.

The exo cage was put on after I rolled it. Better late than never.
