Greetings All, Yep another FNG. My name's Jerry and I'm from Graham, WA. It's just down the road from Puyallup WA where they hold a Goodguys show and where one of the regulars "60's Style" (I think that's his moniker) is from. I'm here looking for information, inspiration, and insight. And just to see some great old rides. I'm not much of a mechanic but I've been driving old cars most of my life. Dad raise me at the racetrack (Puyallup Raceway RIP) and car shows. As they say the apple doesn't fall far... My (more or less) daily right now is a '66 Dodge Dart (longroof!). I also own a '62 Triumph TR4 and my uncle has offered me a '38 Ford Truck. The trucks been sitting in the woods since '63 and I'm not sure it can be saved, but I'm willing to give it a try. I spent the first 20 years of my life driving cars that I wished were as purty as those cars in magazines. It's only been the last few years that I realized it's "all about the build" and I don't need to feel bad about my rough, but rollin' rides. I'm not a devotee of any particular marque, I've owned old American, German, Swedish, Japanese and British cars and have found merit in them all and tried to modify them to suit my tastes at the time. Well I guess that's enough of an intro.
Welcome, from the other coast. Drag the old truck out and have a look ,see. It may be what you want to do. Its unique.
