Living in northern Fairfield County, CT (Newtown). Late 30's, wife-'n-two, mortgage, corporate job, blah, blah, blah. Nothing as interesting as most of you speed freeks. (Hell, being a "suit", I'm surprised Ryan let me in!) Currently working on my first restoration -- MG roadster -- and already planning the next project, much to the dismay of She Who Must Be Obeyed. Will be gathering parts for a beater rod (chopped and channeled A-Coupe) and have already learned a lot just by lurking and checking out the archives. Got into traditional hot rods mostly through collecting and building models, as well as checking them out at shows. Can't wait to build my own!
Welcome to the HAMB, good to have another "Local" guy on here. I've got a MG-TD with a blown 392 Hemi on the back burner of restoration projects. Guess we'll see you at Lime Rock on Labor Day.
"Heck yes you will!" Wow, blown Hemi in a TD...that certainly trumps the guy in Wilton with the '65 Cobra Mustang engine in his MGA, though it'll prolly steer like a pig.
