Probably. Michigan got some pretty nasty wind last night. Radio was advising to seek sturdy shelter. I was wondering if my Kenworth was sturdy enough! I didn't go anywhere, but it sure shook me up.

That ****s. I lost one of mine about 20 years ago to a drunk driver that hit it at about 70 while parked. Still bugs me. Good luck with the insurance, I hope you are covered. Let us know how it comes out, please.

Good luck, hopefully you will have a good experience with the insurance guys. The car that is to the left in my avatar burned to the ground, while driving home from buying it. I owned it for 6 hours. AAA insurance covered it for replacement cost. I bought it for 7500.00, they paid me 15,500.00.

I plan on having AAA till I die.

Serious storms all across Michigan last night,.... A big limb from the tree in the front yard made contact with the roof of the house and tore up some shingles,... And a big piece of Aluminum trim is no where to be found.

This is small potatoes in comparison to loosing your ride,.... Sorry to hear about this.

I lost my first car to a tree in a wind storm when I was a kid. I know the feeling, but can only imagine yours is worse. After all, in reality, although I loved that car, it was a heap compared to your 51 I'm sure.
    You have my condolences.

Damn Pete that ****s! I've got two big HUGE old maples in my yard, 3 of my cars (dailys) are parked under them and I worry everytime it gets windy. I've had a branch go through the back window of my suburban and another through the roof of my house!
I really need to get them cut down but the 4k I was quoted to cut them down is a tough pill to swallow.
Sure hope insurance is good to you!
