well been luriking for a while finally decided to join im 21 from lovley pittsburgh pa well i have a 57 chevy post g***er striaght axle 350 350 got the car off ebay when i got it realized how big of a piece of **** it was haha.... got it and was scared to drive it how with how bad the welds looked get all the welds done remount the frnt shocks and the ****** decides to **** itself after 10 miles then get the ****** back and the guys ****py rad mounts gives way and the fan eats rad after that about every thing else he did screwed up one way of the other after all the bugs worked out the car is a blast to drive get alot of attention around here ... the whole hot rod scene isnt to big around here for some reason ohhh welll!!! i also have a 37 desoto convertible ... find me another one !!!! havent found any other info about someone owning one... none registered in the national desoto club blah blah blah .....welll i want to make a full 50s custom out of it lower radius the fenders fully dressed v8 you know the deal i found this car about 2 miles from the shop... was in a garage in virginia since 59 and somehow made its way up to pittsburgh 8 years ago now i got the car ill try and find some pics of the g***er the only ones i have on the comp are of the desoto also a member of the sacred piston car club
thanks for the welcome if you guys are interested we are having a car show/party deal sept 3 at our shop down in pittsburgh pa got the turbo acs and uncle scratch alreaady booked and should have one more band tba at the last gig we threw on memorial day weekend we had about 50 rods and kustoms show up burnouts beer and bbq hopefully you guys can shoot down if you are interested also attatched pictures of the g***er
