Another rusty rat rod from the 815

Terry, apologies for the fuzzy pic... I forget how much Drew narrowed it, but it retains the entire glovebox. It's grafted on the original dash. Drew also retained the original Pontiac door wrap-arounds and grafted into the Model A doors. The shift knob is an antique crystal doorknob.

 

Hot damn that is beautiful!!!! I can't wait to see it next week. I've noticed over the last year I've begun to appreciate fendered cars a lot more. Does that mean I'm getting older?

I would like to thank Mike for being like the big brother I never had. He let me build a hot rod for him and make some crazy but subtle changes to it and it turned out cool. lots of hours into it as all of you know. this was an awesome build to be part of and it's cool to have interior and engine people to make you look good and keep your idea of the car evolving till the end. I am no superhero i just love to beat on cars with a hammer and a gas pedal. I hope you guys are readdy for mike and drews version of what we think abe lincoln would have had for a hot rod... hahahaha they will look good in the grudge together. see you homo's in detroit I am bringing ace freely with me.

 

Same thing I was wondering. I love the little scalops on the back fender off the running board. Hell, I love the whole thing!

its amazing what a guy can do with a rock and a putty knife.i saw it the other day when i got charlie/andys coupe going the pictures just dont do it justus it is very very nice.

Now that's a traditional hot rod in my book!! Paint and upholstery...... glad to see something other than tall skinny bias plys on a fenderless coupe too. I absolutely LOVE the interior.

One of the most beautiful cars ever seen on the HAMB. Love the ass end treatment. One question, what are those roundy things over the tires? Did old cars originally come with those? Finally a full fendered beauty queen.

Color combo kinda reminds me of the "Silver Saphire" aka little duece coupe. Blue and white is a terrfic choice! Also, the full fendered look compliments the whole deal. Good job, thanks for sharing. Fish-eye lense was a nice touch too.
