Another rusty rat rod from the 815

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Mike Zenor, Mar 2, 2007.

  1. They're '53 Buick ventiports with vintage Warshawsky accessory "jet vent" louver inserts. We talked about making them functional exhaust outlets at one point, but that'd be hella nasty on the paint.

I hate to contradict you my waxed and well-oiled friend, but it was designed with the 1960's in mind -- The 1960's B.C., that is! When Athens was at its height, and the virtues of of Truth and Beauty and Justice were being delineated by the famous Greek hot rod philosophers, such as Aristotle and Euripides and Testicles. Detroit Delenda Est!

With this I cannot disagree! Altho I have actually heard Andrew let slip out the occasion F-bomb ("Fiddlesticks") in moments of creative anguish.

Mike the car looks great. I went with 2 of my buddy and looked at it before you bought it when I was still in polo. I p***ed on it because I thought it was in real bad shape for the $. WOW When I first looked it over at Andy's and he told me what car it was I just about ****ped myself. Then I got to watch Gordy and his crew do magic. I would hate to see all the man hours and sleepless nights. That these very talented builders put in this car. Mike your a very lucky man too have had a this "Dream Team" work on your car.
It was very cool to see this car as it came together. Its rare you see a car of this caliber. Come together right in front of your eyes. from what it was to what it is now.

My hat is off to all the people that had a hand in working on this GREAT car and Zenor's pocket book :)

Say it? You exemplify it. :p:D

I agree with everyone. This is a magical build teaming the minds of Drew and Zenor... I expected nothing less from these two.

    I'm surprised the space/time continuum hasn't imploded...

    or has it?
