Went to a show yesterday 4 blocks from my house at a new Mexican restaurant. From 10am until 12 there was only 6 of us there, couple early 50's trucks, a chevelle, myself and a corvette..we were all pretty worried, then all of a sudden a whole group of lowriders shows up about 20 total. Then after that more and more kept coming. I felt like I was in East LA! Those guys are really cool though, they do really amazing work. So there was a hydraulics competion later in the day that a guy won who had some sort of 80's waggon. It got so high that it rested on the back bumper and stayed there! Anyway in the meantime more 50's and 60's cars showed up as well. I entered my car in the 50-54 catagory and ended up winning best of show! There was about 5 or 6 cars in that catagory. Anyway here's some pics: http://gallery.me.com/designguyshaun#100054
Holy crap, a curved dash 1901 Olds....nice stuff, could do without the late model stuff, but some interesting stuff nonetheless.
Well....... at least it's not the usual.... "HAMB Friendly"... let's take a picture of every single model a and 32 ford at the show ...but there should be some VERY interesting comments coming VERY soon!!!!! Who's turn is is to get the popcorn going???? extra butter, please!!!!!
I think lowriders are cool, great paint, wild interiors, little wheels & tires and cool rear ends.................. CRUISER
Hahahaha. I am not into low riders but I do dig the suspensions. I guess "restored 80s cars" is the part I dont get. If I was alive when it was made, it isnt vintage haha.
