This is a thread for the NW HAMBERS group.

  9. Yeah, sure. I'm still open to garage tours at my place too. I'm clearing out A LOT of early Ford shit, so lets do lunch and bring some $$$$$$:D

  10. I'm up for that, too!!

    Howdy,
I've been lurking around the HAMB for awhile and would be interested in meeting some local folks. Actually, if I really had the time I'd like to learn more on welding, fabrication, metal work, and anything else having to do with rodding and restoring.

Years ago I enjoyed working with my Dad on Hot rods. The past twenty-some years I've been in an office job (not too enjoyable but pays the bills--I'm active duty in the Air Force) and raising kids. I've checked, and it doesn't look like the community college offers any evening courses on welding or anything related to the auto enthusiast. Anyone interested in helping a frustrated rodder wannabe? Thanks.

Im scared to do a garage tour at chris' place. Im scared because within 5 minutes i will be broke and homeless. Id be down for something in spokane though. I dont know it that well though so you guys would have to come up with a good place to eat.

If you guys get together try to get a picture of Don Adel's T- Bucket. It is cooler than Norm's.

    Here is my idea.

We pick a Saturday morning and meet for breakfast (from 8am to 10am) at the little diner at Felts Field airstrip.
This will put us very close to the "Ranch" and we could all go dig for treasures for a couple hours after breakfast.

    Thoughts?

  15. HA! thats exactly what I did yesterday, after the ranch got to go see a private barn FULL of early Ford parts!!! Scored a nice 33 frame, 97's, T rear spring, and some other odds and ends!
I'M IN!!!!! Great idea Sinister, Who else wants to do that????

Works for me, when do you guys want to do this?

  19. Gimme a call and I can give ya directions...pretty much right off the Broadway exit off I-90

  20. Whenever, next weekend is suppost to be in the upper 30's...will feel like 70 degrees :D Weekend after next I can't, goin to Boise to pick up my 29 roadster

  21. Hey Acey,
Heres the 33 frame, guy took it all apart in the 50's, so it never had a chance to rust like the other 3 1/2 I have. Plus it stores a lot easier!!!

So how about Sat Jan 31st at 8am(this coming Sat) I think it's called the skyway cafe? I know they have good food, fair prices, and they don't offer me a kid's menu and a booster seat. Landing my JEEP there might be a problem though...

I can swing by and pick up Wayfarer on my way there.

If we have a set place and time once a month, we could all meet up a few times before Acey heads out for muff diving school.

Chime in if this works for everyone, or not..

    CH!P
