I know this has been beat to death, I've been reading all those threads, but I'm more confused now than when I started. The car is a 1946 Studebaker Champion. The front suspension isn't an option, really hard to find parts for and I wouldn't be comfortable with that under a V-8 anyway so it looks like something else is in order.
Mustang II like suspensions are what I've been looking at but there are tons of companies selling them and if you read the descriptions they all seem pretty much the same. Is one really that much better than the other or is it pretty much Ford vs Chevy, personal preference?

Any recommendations other than that style suspension? My frame is really narrow so a clip is out of the question I'm not sure it would be a good choice anyway I don't want this to be a hack job.
So let me have it, what are my options and where is the best place to start looking?

Thanks,BTW I joined the Alliance tonight...not sure what took so long to do that.:D
