OK...now that I've gotten off dailup and have a computer that I may be able to post from, and seeing lot of thing to respond to, it's time for an intro! Been around car all my life thanks to an older brother. Ryan's post on Caddo Mills drag brought back memories. Went to the drags in 58 or 9 with my brother and have some old 8mm film of the action. I was about 7-8 years old and it warped me for life. Always had a couple of old cars around. The pic in my avatar is my high school rides. Took body shop in school so keeping a sharp ride was a must. Did body work for a living until 1976 when my brother and I opened a chemical stripping bussiness,Chem-Strip of Dallas. Went on to own a glass shop, couple of salvage yards and since 1990, a steering column repair shop. Still have a couple of cars, 23 bucket I tried to make look like a late 50's early 60's build. Have the anglia in the pic on my jig table and it's the next builder. Figured since I bought it in 1967 it's time to do something...right or wrong,HA! Have been amazed at the craftmanship and info of other hamb members and look forward to getting to know more of you guy's and adding what I can.....Later, Ken
Hey Danny, neat to have the very guy who told me about the HAMB be the first to give me a shout! You know that it's to late for a couple of ol' farts like us to be up. Like the new avatar..look forward to seeing the car!
