I am building a 283 with a tripower setup using Edelbrock's 3X2 intake (#5419). The only intake gasket that I can find (edelbrock, fel pro, etc.) is not contoured to the intakes shape. They are straight across the top and a large part of the gasket will show. Have any of you had any luck in t******* the intake gaskets to match the shape of the intake? If so, how did you do it? I know that this is being picky...but...
    Thanks in advance, Booger's daddy

Scribe the top edge of the Gasket to the manifold then cut it with tin snips
