Another vega box question

    I have a vega box on my 32 (FLAMING RIVER) it has one bolt with a little vent hole in it after a 50 mile ride i noticed a little grease ozed out the vent is this normal oor is something bad going on here . i have no other probs with the box .

    I got the same box on my 32 and it's never done that. been on there 2 years. good luck .

    I have a Vega box (stock) that I drilled the bolt after filling it with grease. I oozes a little grease every now and then but works fine. As long as it works fine and doesn't develop any slop I wouldn't worry about it.

  5. A small vent strikes me as a good idea.

    Without one, if the box is filled to the top the grease is going to go past the seals....
