    This is where if you spend 5K on fixing it up, 10K might still buy a much nicer example. This car needs a lot of $$$ to make it decent. I bet there's a lot of rust that isn't showing.

    I'd do an El Paso on it... I'm getting too old to want to gut a car and replace everything again...

    Being that it's a Parklane its probably worth what the seller is asking. If it was your average Ranch Wagon then there's no way it would be worth that much.

    All I know is that, according to Hagerty, wagons are going up in value. I just increased the insurance value of mine.

    My car has gone up quite a bit too if I can believe Hagerty.

    I paid 5K for my Edsel Roundup wagon 9 years ago and it was a basket case needing a compleat restoration.

    Its rare and I wanted one so I guess a buyer has to justify to hisself what the machine is worth to obtain.

    I felt it was worth the price to get such a rare car.
