Lee Pratt pick, WOW, he's got the eye. His cars have always been some of my very favorites. From the 41 Buick and early 50s Chevy to his Nomad.

 

I have become so accustomed to looking at the modified version, I had to go back and look at post #1 to remind myself that these never looked so very cool...

Thanks for the side by side pictures. Really makes you stop and say WOW!!! Kinda like watching a child grow day by day - sometimes you forget what the original version looked like and just how much change has occurred.

 

Been working on all the front and sheet-metal. Welded all the vent hose up in the front header panel



Made new panels for the front fenders to fill in where the seams were at.
Welded it all in.


Then I filed all the welds down.

I did the same thing on the other side

Wow, all that work and 99.5% of people won't even notice the changes!! Honestly, there are several that I would not have ever seen had I not see it in this thread.... Or the truck sitting next to a stocker!

Well I stood and studied the truck quite a bit this last weekend at Salina and I got to say that it is amazing. It's done so good that you don't even know what was stock and what's not! The work is that good... Just better!!

Is the truck almost ready for paint ? or are you still working on it ? please post more pic's

 

I'm kind of hoping he never paints it. It would be a shame to cover up that sheet metal work.

 

I stood and stared at it for a long time at KKOA. Absolutely beautiful

 

Yes I went to Salina Kansas for the KKOA show. Had a great time while I was there. Custom legend Merle Berg gave me an award for my truck a handmade trophy he made. Very cool.

Jimmy has been a busy man lately. He's is working on the Aluminum interior panels. A lot of metal shaping in these panels. Its a shame to cover the panels up. You will be amazed!!!!!!!
