Technical Another what engine is it

    Saw this on FB Market Place. Best photo attached. Thinking maybe an industrial or truck application based on what I assume is a governor? Not luck with a Goggle image search.

    Looks mopar. A better pic of the valve covers etc would be helpfull.

    Ha, saw one that looked very similar on an irrigation pump this afternoon. Ran on propane and had “Chrysler Industrial” noted on the valve covers in paint.

    and the funny thing about that is that the block is the same width as the 318 LA engine. It's the heads that are wider on the poly

    Interesting factoid on the early 318 ... The timing chain can be worn so badly it rattles on the timing cover, but it won't jump.

    Until the OEM nylon over-molding on the gear breaks....

    An "A" Poly, but w/o casting numbers it could be something besides a 318.
