    judging from the colors, it looks like John Deere.

  5. Here's thank you from the guy I posted that pic for, It's a big deal to him, has been for many years. He's not on the HAMB. It's a relic his family has had for who knows how long, it belongs to his elderly Grandmother.

I've shown this to people over the years, including people from Maine who are 'experts' on pre- WW II cars, and they have been stumped. Thank you so much for solving the mystery. I don't plan to sell it anytime soon, but obviously, knowing the make of car will be a big help if I decide to part with it.     Essex had some beautiful dash and instrument clusters.
