found a model a four door sedan shell.... no grill, hood, etc... no motor/trans... frame and brakes are there... rusty, but might be ok underneath the surface rust... not many people buildin these, and i dig the slammed look of em... long and MEAN with the v8 in front... LOL.. just kickin around the idea, and trhe guy was like, "make me an offer"... wants to throw the trailer its on in too, a smaller trailer, but could maybe carry a regular car, diddnt look too close at dimensions or anythuing... what do you guys think its worth/???? pretty solid, some rot on bottom of car, but not much for midwest car pretty darn clean... fenders are there, exce3pt for one running board (i know we dont want these, LOL)... gimma an idea?? he has hinted before that trailer is worth about $300 to him... so... hmmm... trailer = $300 model A= $???/ total offer = $???
Yeah, pics would be good. Does the trailer have two axles or one? You could use that trailer. If you had to pay $500 for the whole shebang, I don't think you could go wrong. Whatever happened to that T you were looking at?
i believe its a double axle trailer, not sure if its wide enough for 50s cars though, LOL... either way.. i think hes gonna want too much (about $1k for all).. does have frame suspension etc... im goin tonight to see whats all there still...... will let you guys know... no pics though.. cleaner than i imagined it would be.... very lil rust besides some surface... pretty clean car (this comin from a guy that saw it in the dark under lights)
anyone else wanna chime in on this one??? tough call... i think maybe $800 cuold get it all... idk... hes gonna try for like $1500... but hes been sittin on it for months, payin storage for it, and just got a new house with no room for it (hehehehhehehe).... i think $800 wouldnt be bad if frame and all seems useable... idk.... trailer i might not even want, but for $300, if its a dual axle... idk... we will see..
