A guy over on Fordbarn has these on a haywagon and needs an ID.
    Says they are 16" 5 on 5 1/2 with a full 4" center hole.
Are these 40's? I thought the various Ford 40-48 wheels have a 3 1/2" center hole.

Could they be an old Jeep wheel? I remember years ago they had that bolt pattern with a rather large center hole.

I'll bet Tootall is right. Willys and ford both made WWII Jeeps and the willys wheels were smooth in the centers. I'll betcha the ford jeep wheels had the diamonds between the lugnuts just like the ones in the photo.

I'm with Tootall on this one too

looks kinda Jeep like. I had a similar set but they looked flatter and did not have provisions for a hubcap. I think I may still have one or too in the scrap pile, I will look and see
