Ansen style pedal setups, and a ?

I've got an Ansen pedal setup with the typical early 60's chevy master/slave. Has anyone converted this pedal setup to use a seperate master and slave? I like the look of the correct master/slave, but due to some changes in the build I really thing it's time to upgrade the master for safety.
I'm sure i can figure out a different setup, but just wondering if anyone has already done this and has suggestions for the masters...
