    Hello everyone,
My son and I are working on a 59 F100. It will be his first time behind the wheel. He is very excited about it and it gives us a chance to spend time together.
We are learning body work together so we have to sand a lot. I found the HAMB because many of my online searches wound up at this site.
I could go on and on but I will get to my question. I want to know if anyone has photos of custom intakes or exhausts that fit the 223. I manage a maint department for a steel company and a non ferrous shop. Since my welding is not that good I can fab them up and have them welded in either of the shops.
Thanks in advance for photos and wisdom,
    Dave

Patriot makes a header that should work on your truck if you are looking to buy one. Here's a link for that header http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PTE-H8425/ . Says it's for a '54-'56 but I bet it would work on a '60. Even if you had to tweak it a little it would almost be worth the cost just for a flange and some nice bends. If you want to build your own go for it and be sure to take lots of pictures! I'm running a 2 barrel Holley on my girlfriend's '54 Customline on an oddball adapter bolted to the stock intake. I'll have to take some pictures for ya. Best thing I ever did to that car was ditch the stock carb. Good luck with the project and have fun with your kid.

Thanks for the response. I am not looking to get a lot of performance just let it breathe a little better. We are planning the options for brakes steering and lowering. Thanks to this message board we will install a lowered axle from Sids.:)

I can't say enough good things about Sid's dropped axles! I have one under my '64 F100 and am really happy with it.

If you find a complete 64 unit you can score a PCV system to replace the road draft tube. This will double the life of your engine. 64 unit will also have a spin-on oil filter adapter that will make service easy besides being more compact. I think 64 was the last year for the 223.
